Academic Excellence

The academic excellence program within Phi Mu Kappa Beta is not only designed to ensure that girls are keeping up their grades, but to also reward sisters for outstanding grades. Every month, members are encouraged to send their good grades to the academic excellence chair. At the end of the month, the chair holds a drawing in which all of the girls who sent in good grades are entered in. The incentive varies from month to month and is given to the girl who wins the drawing. Sisters who excel academically are also recognized at the beginning of every semester and at Phi Mu parents weekend in front of all of their family and friends.
Our chapter is proud to announce that we had the highest overall GPA out of the six sororities for the school year of 2013, 2014, 2016 as well as 2017. We were also presented with the award for Excellence in Academics for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 year. We truly value grades here in Phi Mu and want to do anything we can to help our sisters achieve academic excellence.
